Lavallette Air Conditioner Causes Huge Water Damage Problem

A Lavallette home had an air conditioner installed in the attic and the unit leaked. The result was major water damage. The ceiling in the bedroom became so saturated it collapsed and fortunately, no one was injured. However, a large amount of water was in the bed, the carpet and articles in the room. SERVPRO technicians removed the items to a safe area during the cleanup and extracted the water from the bedroom. The ruined sheetrock in the ceiling got removed to open up the area for complete drying as well as prep it for the needed repairs. The technicians set up a cleaning station outside the bedroom to disinfect the other items in the room that had restoration potential.
